Patrol drives past a gas station in Snapparp and discovers a ongoing fuel siphoning from a truck. The suspected perpetrators initially flee the scene southwards. Patrol stops a car where the driver is taken in for a blood test suspected of driving under the influence. It can be suspected that this person would pick up the two people seen siphoning fuel from the truck.

The two people suspected of stealing fuel are believed to have taken themselves into the terrain. A police dog patrol from the South police region is alerted. The dog begins to search and picks up a track. The dog marks two robbery gloves among other things.

After a time of search, the people are found in a car in Helsingborg. It is two men in their mid-twenties. They are arrested suspected of theft. Siphoning equipment found at the crime scene is seized.
