The police receive an alarm about a suspected dangerous object near the entrance to a multi-family house in Mölndal.
Several patrol units are alerted to the location, together with rescue services and an ambulance. The location is cordoned off and residents near the current entrance are urged to stay indoors. A nearby preschool is urged not to let the children out on the side that faces the cordons.
The object is grenade-like and is considered, after evaluation by the National Bomb Protection, as sharp. Until it is taken care of, the public is urged to respect the cordons and our staff's instructions.
Update 08:55
The object is now disarmed. The cordons will be lifted when our personnel are finished on site.
