During the afternoon, reports came in about a car driver hitting a pedestrian in Borlänge. The affected pedestrian was not injured in connection with the collision and no acute medical need was necessary.

The police patrol was ordered to the scene and investigative measures have been taken. 

The driver, a 25-year-old man, is suspected of reckless driving and an investigation has been initiated.
