Bölesholmarna, unknown individuals are alleged to have dumped food waste into the water at Laxgränd.
According to information, the food waste is said to have been seen being dumped late on Monday evening and it remains in the water today. It is said to smell badly.
The police have checked the information during the afternoon. It appears to be food waste (meat) that has been dumped.
A report concerning littering is being drawn up.
