A witness in a car is following the man who is moving along Viaredsvägen. According to the informant, he is supposed to have a larger knife in his hand. On Elementgatan, the police patrol sees the man and he can be secured. The man is in his mid-30s and he is apprehended. He is suspected of, among other things, grossly threatening a public official (in connection with the intervention), gross violation of the knife law as well as minor narcotics offenses, personal use.

No person has been injured in the incident.
