We receive during the morning an alarm that two perpetrators have stolen belongings from a car at a gas station in Ytterby. According to reports, they had also filled up without paying. A patrol is sent to the location. On the way there, the patrol sees the car and initiates a shorter pursuit. The journey goes on E6 in a southerly direction, where the driver then drives onto the wrong side of the road and in connection with this, the pursuit is interrupted. At Bäckebolsmotet, the car skids and collides with a crash barrier. Two people in the car are arrested suspected of theft, gross negligence in traffic. Further charges may be added. One of the arrested persons is taken to hospital by the patrol for examination. No other information about personal injuries. Limited access to E6 in connection with the incident.
