Under the afternoon, the police have been in the area of Nedre Holm in Motala due to a found object. 

The national bomb protection is on site and will perform a so-called controlled detonation. This means that the object will be neutralized. This may be heard in the surrounding area but there is no danger to the public and no reason for concern. 

Update 21:40 - Traffic may be affected for a short period during the neutralization of the object. 

21:49 - The object has been neutralized.
