A driver calls the police and reports that another driver has driven into the complainant's car, after which the driver is supposed to have tried to drive away from the scene.

The incident is said to have occurred at Gideonsberg in Västerås and the complainant, a 20-year-old man, suspects that the driver, a 65-year-old woman, is under the influence of something and has therefore taken the car keys to prevent further travel.

In connection with the police checking the female driver, she blows positive. The woman is taken in for further testing and is also apprehended according to the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons.

The woman is suspected of gross drunken driving and unlawful departure from the traffic accident site.
