08:24: Police receive calls about a traffic accident on road 939 outside Tumbo in Eskilstuna municipality. According to initial reports, it appears to be some kind of collision. Traffic on the site is affected. A 45-year-old driver says he was rear-ended by the car behind him and complains of certain pains.

Police conduct a sobriety test on the driver of the car behind, a 20-year-old man, and the result is positive.

09:02: The 20-year-old driver is suspected of gross drunk driving, reckless driving, and causing bodily harm.

Traffic was able to flow as usual just before 9:00. Both cars had to be towed from the site. The 45-year-old driver did not need to be transported to the hospital by ambulance.
