Police have handled over 100 incidents between 22:00 and 07:00 in Södermanland County. No serious violent crimes or major incidents have come to the police's attention.

Fires in cars, Eskilstuna:

At 07:00 this morning, the police were contacted by the rescue service regarding a fire involving three cars on Västra Storgatan in central Eskilstuna. Two additional cars have suffered vehicle damage.

The police are inspecting the vehicles and contacting their owners.

By 08:00 on Saturday morning, no criminal charges have been filed. It appears that the fire started in one of the passenger cars and then spread to several other cars.

Police have also conducted various routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public reports.
