September 20, 18.15, Shooting, Suspected, Norrköping

At around 18:15, police were alerted to a location outside Ektorp in Norrköping following a suspected serious violent crime. This occurred after the public heard loud explosions in the area. At the scene, a person was found with very serious injuries. The affected person was taken to hospital in an ambulance. 

Police have a larger resource currently present at the scene where this occurred. The area has been secured and a cordon has been set up in the area. Already, a feverish effort is underway to gather information and search for perpetrators. At present, there are no further details to be disclosed regarding exactly what occurred at the scene. 

Update 19:22: Police have, among other things, checked several people as a result of the incident. At present, no one has been arrested. There is also no suspect at present. 

Update 20:00: It appears that a shooting occurred in the area. Work at the scene continues with full force. There is still no suspect. 

Update 20:26: Police have conducted a search at the crime scene and secured various items. They have also conducted door-to-door checks in the area.
