Over the past few days, the control centre has received alarm calls from the Norrköping area, several of which have been classified as pure false alarms or prank calls. The police want to remind people of the seriousness of contacting 112 in anything other than genuine emergencies. Some of these calls can result in the police unnecessarily activating a large number of resources, taking these alarms very seriously. We also want to remind people that it is punishable to make false alarms.
