Around 15:00, police are alerted to Sundby in Strängnäs due to a man who is walking around and screaming in the area near a school. When the police arrive, the man is quickly brought under control, and is initially taken into custody for intoxication. No one is reported to have been injured and the man is said to have neither threatened nor made any other incidents against the public in connection with the alarm. The man, who is in his 45-year-old age group, has later been arrested suspected of gross breach of the knife law.
