At 20:30 on Saturday evening, a distress call was received about an explosion in an apartment at a multi-family house in Motala. According to initial reports, something had exploded. Due to the entry value, the police quickly cordoned off the area, started an investigation into gross destruction and initiated evacuation/occupation.

The police have efficiently gathered information, conducted interrogations, and by 21:42, the situation was updated to the fact that the fire started in the kitchen of an apartment.

At 22:15, several cordons were removed. One apartment is fire/smoke damaged. A technical investigation will be carried out there. The legal situation has changed to gross negligence. No person has suffered personal injury and there is no suspect. Gross negligence is a negligence crime.
