During the week, the police have received several calls about a person who has been moving around schools in the Östra school area in central Sunne. The person has, among other things, photographed and posted photos as well as some text on social media. This has created some concern among some of our citizens and the police have worked on the matter together with both the school and the municipality.

The conclusion has been that there was no criminal intent on the part of the person in question. The police have pressed the inappropriateness of the person's presence around schools during school hours in conversations with the person, and the message is perceived to have been conveyed.

The police think it's good that the school reacts to deviant behavior and that it informs the police, which then investigates what it's about.

We hope that the possible concern that has existed over the past few days can subside and that the school can continue to be a safe place for all children and those who work there.
