Home care service alerts police after coming across a man injured in a residence. The man has injuries on his body and he is taken to hospital by ambulance.

At the hospital, it is confirmed that the man, who is in his 80s, has died and relatives have been informed.

A report of murder has been drawn up and there is currently no suspect.

The location is cordoned off and technicians are on the scene.
