October 8, 08.01, Summary of the night, Jönköping County

During the night, the police's command center has handled a number of 70 incidents in Jönköping County, between 22.00 and 07.00. Here follows a selection of the night's incidents: 

00.05, Assault: Police are called to a residence in Norrahammar in Jönköping due to a fight where a man and a woman are screaming at each other. Police arrive at the scene and find both the man and the woman. The man and woman are said to have a relationship with each other previously. The woman has some injuries, which however do not require hospital care. The man, who is in his 50s, is arrested suspected of assault. He has not been able to be heard during the night due to intoxication. 

06.43, Wildlife accident: SOS is alerted to a wildlife accident on Highway 27, where a passenger car has collided with an elk. The accident has occurred in a northerly direction at the height of Illeråsasjön, and the road is partially blocked. The driver has not been seriously injured.
