Under the night, the police's command center has handled a number of 70 incidents in Östergötland's county, between 10:00 PM and 07:00.

22.51, reckless driving: A patrol sees a car driving on the sidewalk in Motala's town and signals that it should stop. The car does not stop, and the patrol follows it for three minutes before the car disappears from view. Another patrol then sees the car, which has driven into a fence at a curve. The car is checked, but is empty. Near the car, a man is found who seems to have hidden from the police. The man, who is in his mid-20s, may be suspected of fleeing from a traffic accident site. 
As it is currently unclear who was driving the car, a report is filed for reckless driving and not stopping at a police officer's signal, where the perpetrator is currently unknown.

04.12, Violation of the knife law: A police patrol makes a traffic check on highway 50 near Medevi in Motala municipality, and stops a car. The driver, a man in his mid-30s, does not have the right to drive a car and is therefore suspected of unauthorized driving. The patrol also finds knife items in the car and the driver is therefore also suspected of violating the knife law.
