October 7, 18.42, Traffic accident, Örebro

A person has been hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing on Storgatan/Östra Nobelgatan. The person is awake and able to speak, but has pains in the lower body. The driver is still at the scene.  

Update 19.50: The driver has been fined for not observing the obligation to give way. The pedestrian had received a green light and started crossing the pedestrian crossing when the driver turned in and drove into the person. Ambulance personnel have checked the pedestrian, who did not need to be taken to hospital for further care.
