Police receive numerous calls regarding an elk that has wandered to the wrong side of the wildlife fence on E4 between Njutånger and Söderhamn.

A patrol is sent to the location to try to locate the elk and ensure traffic safety.

A wildlife warden is also involved in the matter.

The patrol has visually spotted the elk and after a few minutes of searching along the motorway, the patrol sees a hole in the wildlife fence and concludes that the animal is back in its natural habitat.
