Police have handled over 100 incidents between 19:00 and 07:00 in Östergötland County.

19:04 Police are alerted to a residence in Vilbergen, Norrköping. A woman in her 70s is found deceased in the residence. There are unclear circumstances surrounding the death, which is why an investigation is initiated with an initial classification of murder to allow for the necessary technical investigative measures to be taken.

There is no arrested or suspected perpetrator. Police have conducted a number of interviews overnight and also carried out a technical examination.

There is no threat or connection to other criminal activity, and there is no reason for the public to feel any concern due to the incident.
