Something has exploded outside a door to a residence. A window is smashed in connection with the explosion and the door is damaged, but no person is supposed to have suffered physical harm. The location is cordoned off and national bomb protection and forensic technicians are summoned to the location. According to the initial assessment, it is a hand grenade that detonated. The police are knocking on doors in the area to gather any potential witness statements and a report of malicious destruction of property is drawn up. No one has been arrested.
