The plaintiff would cross the road when a car stopped and out of it sprang three masked unknown men. The men chased the plaintiff and they ended up in a small thicket and there they began to beat him with a wooden mallet. The plaintiff also received a number of kicks to the head and body.

The injuries became a wound in the back of the head, a split lip and pains in the face and body.

The plaintiff was taken by ambulance to the hospital for examination and care of the injuries.

The police have initiated an investigation regarding severe assault.

The police are looking for witnesses to the incident.
