October 30, 18.11, Hazardous object, Suspected, Södertälje

The police have cordoned off parts of a residential area in Lina hage due to an unknown person having thrown a suspected dangerous object outside a residence. 

Residents within the cordoned-off areas are advised to stay away from windows and doors facing the cordoned-off area, but otherwise it is considered safe to be indoors.

At present, the assessment is that the object is live. The police have therefore initiated an investigation into attempted murder, attempted mass destruction and an offence against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
