Alarm was received about a traffic accident on Gideonsberg. The police rushed to the scene where a person on an electric bicycle had been hit by a car. The electric bicycle rider, a man in his 18-year-old age, was taken to hospital after the incident with unclear injury status. The person was conscious.

The driver of the car, a man in his 75-year-old age, drove away from the scene after the incident but was stopped by the public.

A report of not observing a right of way obligation and fleeing from a traffic accident site was drawn up.
