The 13th of September a man was found deceased at an address in Skellefteå. Since it was not possible to rule out that the man had been subjected to a crime, an investigation was initiated regarding assault and causing the death of another person.

The results from the technical investigations, however, do not indicate that the death was caused by anyone else and the investigation is concluded.

– Since there is now no reason to assume that a crime punishable by general prosecution has been committed, the case is closed, says Marcus Danielsson, head of the police department for serious crimes in Västerbotten.
