A verbal argument is said to have arisen between a person on a balcony (a man in his 30s) and a person below on the ground outside (a man in his 20s). The man on the balcony is then said to have jumped down from the balcony, whereupon a physical fight broke out with injuries as a result. The man in his 30s was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, according to initial reports. The man in his 20s was arrested for severe assault, and also sustained some injuries, which is why a report of assault was also filed where he is the victim.

An alarm was received regarding a large fight between a group of 20 people in central Halmstad. When the police arrived at the scene, people had dispersed and the situation had calmed down. Two men in their 20s were identified as victims as they had been subjected to violence.
