
It has been a normal Saturday night in the region. Below follows a selection of cases that we have handled.
Ludvika 23.49. Use of false document. A 17-year-old boy is suspected of showing an ID card that is not his, at a restaurant. The police have been on the scene and are writing a report regarding the use of a false document. The custodians have been informed.
Borlänge 02.39. Assault. A police patrol notices a fight in the city center and it ends with a 20-year-old boy being suspected of assault against a 30-year-old man. There is no information that the victim had to visit the emergency care.
Leksand 02.45. Drug offence. A police patrol stops and checks a car in Insjön. One of the people in the car, a 20-year-old man, is suspected of minor drug offence through personal use. The patrol also finds a small amount of suspected drugs in the car but regarding the offence, minor drug offence through possession, there is no suspect at the moment as it was not possible to determine whose drugs it was.
Aside from this, we have among other things checked a number of people and vehicles, taken 13 people into custody according to the LOB, the Act on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons, and handled three wildlife accidents without personal injury.
