The police receive a call about a man who has assaulted a woman in their shared residence.

The police have been on the scene and have detained a 25-year-old man suspected of assault.

The woman, who is 35 years old, has not needed to visit the emergency department.

The police will hold an interrogation with the man and thereafter a prosecutor will make a decision on whether he should remain detained or not.
