October 22, 04.12, Hazardous object, suspected, Eslöv

Police have been sent to Bredablicksvägen in connection with a suspected dangerous object found. The object is located outdoors near a multi-family house. 

A cordon has been set up pending the National Bomb Squad and technicians being able to investigate the object. 

Parts of the property have been evacuated and a shelter has been set up for the remaining adjacent properties. 

The case is classified as an attempt at mass destruction and a serious crime against the law of flammable and explosive goods (LBE)

Update at 05:10. NBS has investigated the object, which is assessed to be a sharp hand grenade. It will be neutralized on site.
