October 21, 07.45, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

Here follow a selection of the events from last night:

06.08 Wildlife accident, Ragunda:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a small truck and a deer on Highway 768, south of Brynjegård. No personal injuries are reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a hunter is called in to take care of it. 

Other:
Police handled a case in Krokoms municipality during the night where a man is suspected of assaulting a woman he is in a relationship with. There are no reports that the woman needed to be taken to hospital. The man, who is in his mid-30s, was arrested and after questioning, the prosecutor has decided that he should be detained.

Police have also conducted checks of people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
