During the morning, police and other emergency personnel were alerted that a man had been seriously injured after somehow becoming pinned down at a location in rural areas northeast of Jönköping city. It later became clear that the man had had a tree fall on him. Exactly how the accident occurred is still unknown. 

The person affected, a 65-year-old man, was taken to the hospital after the accident, but his life could not be saved. Relatives have been informed of what happened.

Police are investigating the incident as a workplace accident. Out of respect for the relatives, the police will not provide any further details about what happened at this time.
