October 19, 2:30 a.m., Theft, Simrishamn

A report comes in of an ongoing theft from a truck on Fabriksgatan, and police respond to the scene. Two men running from the scene are apprehended by a patrol.

Several items are found in a car near the scene that can be linked to the two men. These include a quantity of diesel, a sharp object and a bolt cutter.

The two men, both in their 30s, are taken into custody and are suspected of theft and theft of diesel; one of the suspects is also suspected of violating the Knife Act.
