Lycksele
Around 12 o’clock, a driver was stopped for a check in the town centre. A fine was issued because he had used a mobile phone while driving.

Umeå
Just before 9 o’clock, a motorist was stopped on National Road 92 at Klockarbäcken. The driver had been driving at 103 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. A fine of 2,800 kronor was issued.

A sobriety check was held on Tegsvägen at around 9 o’clock, with no remarks. Everyone was sober. Shortly afterwards, traffic was also checked on Storgatan in the town centre, with no remarks.

Just after 10 o’clock, a sobriety check was held at Sandbacka/Mariedal. Around 50 drivers were checked. One driver (a man) tested positive on the police’s screening device. He was taken in for a test. A report of drink-driving was filed, and the man’s driving licence was seized. The vehicle keys were also temporarily seized to prevent him from continuing his journey.

Vännäs
At around 9:30, a motorist was stopped for speeding on National Road 92. The driver had been driving at 94 km/h on an 80 km/h road. A fine of 2,000 kronor was issued. Afterwards, a motorist was stopped on the same road after driving at 121 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. A fine of 2,800 kronor was issued.

Åsele
Just before 11 o’clock, a motorist was stopped on National Road 92 after she had been driving at 115 km/h on a 100 km/h road. A fine of 2,000 kronor was issued. Afterwards, two more drivers were fined for speeding in the municipality.

At around 12:40, a driver was stopped for a check in the built-up area. A fine of 1,500 kronor was issued because she had not worn a seat belt while driving.

Just after 1 o’clock, a driver who had swerved across the centre line while passing an oncoming vehicle was stopped. A fine of 1,000 kronor was issued.

At around 1:30, an A-tractor was stopped for a check. The registration plate at the front of the vehicle was missing, and a fine was issued. Afterwards, a motorist with a trailer was stopped for speeding. The driver was allowed to drive at 80 km/h but was driving at 96. A fine was issued.
