
Police are on the scene at a school in Lindesberg municipality due to a lockdown alarm.
The cause of the alarm at present is unclear and the police are on the scene to investigate what has happened.
Outside parties are requested to stay away from the area so that the police can work in peace and quiet and follow the instructions given by the police. No person has been injured.
Update 13.41: The police are continuing to search the area. A person with deviating behavior has been seen, and therefore two schools have chosen to take in students. We are on the scene with a sufficient large resource to handle the matter and create a situation picture of what has happened. We want to continue to emphasize that no person has been found injured or that we have received reports of personal injuries. There is no crime classification at present. No person is suspected or arrested.
The police will be present at both schools for the purpose of creating a sense of security.
Update 14.11: The release of students and staff from Brotorpsskolan will now begin in a controlled manner. We cannot see that there is any threat to the location, the assembly point will be on Ruddammsgatan where parents can pick up their children. The police and school staff are on the scene.
Update 15.08: Information has been received that a masked person has been seen in connection with the school, but we are still gathering information to investigate what has happened. An investigation into aggravated group threats has been initiated in order to be able to carry out the measures we consider necessary. There is no suspect in this case.
