The pole on which the ATK camera was mounted had been cut through with a tool and was lying on the ground. The camera itself was still attached to the pole, so the offence was classified as attempted aggravated theft.

Police technicians have been at the scene and conducted a crime scene investigation to secure evidence.

There is currently no suspect in the case. The police have previously received reports of aggravated thefts of ATK cameras in northern Uppland and will therefore check whether there is any connection between this case and those crimes.

The police are grateful for any tips or observations that may have been made in connection with the incident.
