During a stop and control of a vehicle in Luleå, the driver, a man, is suspected of being under the influence of drugs and is taken in for a blood test. A report is filed regarding DUI and minor drug offense (use).

03:02 DUI, Piteå:
During a stop and control of two trucks at the Backens industrial area, the drivers, both men, are suspected of being intoxicated and are taken in for a blood test. Reports are filed regarding DUI.

03:05 Traffic accident, Luleå:
Alarm about a traffic accident in the city center. A person is said to have driven into a pole with an electric bicycle. A police patrol is dispatched to the scene. The person is taken to hospital by ambulance. There is no suspicion of a crime related to the accident.

06:39 Wildlife accident, Piteå:
Accident involving a vehicle and a deer on the Norra Ringen, Öjebyn. No personal injuries reported.

Other:
Two people have been taken into custody for DUI and one person has been taken in for a blood test due to suspicion of drug offense.

Police have also conducted checks on people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
