The police were informed that a serious crime had been directed at Staffangymnasiet. 

The police investigation quickly led to a suspect, who was taken in for questioning. After the questioning, the on-call prosecutor detained the person.

The preliminary investigation is at an early stage and is in a sensitive situation, so the police will not comment further on it. 

The police assess that there is no threat to the school now that the person has been identified and detained.

The police will take measures to enhance security at the school during the day.
