Police were called together with Rescue Services and ambulance to Johannisberg Airfield in connection with a parachute accident. A man had attempted to make a landing with his parachute, which allows one to glide along the ground to land, but instead crashed straight down at high speed. The man was taken to Västerås hospital with severe injuries, but his life could not be saved and the man is now deceased. The man was born in 1988 and his next of kin have been notified. Police suspect no crime in connection with the accident.
