Police are sent to an apartment on Erikstorpsgatan due to several callers reporting a fight. A wounded man is found. The man, who has either stab or cut wounds, is taken by ambulance to the hospital. 

Update 16:20: An investigation into attempted murder has been initiated. Further charges may be added. Police are working on gathering information.

The crime scene, an apartment, will be cordoned off for a technical examination. 

Update 16:25: The staircase will also be cordoned off. 

No ID is currently available for the injured man, who is being treated at the hospital. 

Update 16:32: Police have decided on a PL24 area at the hospital in Malmö, this in order to maintain order and security on the site.
