For unclear reasons, a passenger car caught fire on E18 during travel. Due to this, the lane in the direction of Karlskoga was closed during the extinguishing work. The lane towards Kristinehamn was, however, available for passing traffic.
No one was injured. Traffic was released again at 14:29 in the direction of Karlskoga as well. The patrol will remain on site until the towing company arrives. Drivers are advised to drive slowly past the scene.
