Just before 07:00, police are alerted to a suspected case of assault in a multi-family house in central Eskilstuna. Upon arrival, the police patrol encounters people, one of whom is a woman bleeding and likely injured with a sharp object. The injury is not believed to be serious. In a stairwell, bloodstains are also found during a check. Shortly, a man who is suspected to be the perpetrator is found. The man is arrested on suspicion of assault, or alternatively, grievous assault. One apartment has been cordoned off for technical examination. The affected woman has been taken to hospital by ambulance for examination.
