Police arrested a man at a residence in Örebro during the day.
The man is suspected of assaulting a woman he is in a relationship with.
The woman had visible injuries when the patrol arrived at the address.

Interviews and documentation of the suspected crime scene have been completed.

The perpetrator, who is in his 40s, will be interviewed and informed of the suspicion of a crime. The findings of the preliminary investigation will then be presented to an on-call prosecutor, who will decide whether to impose further restrictions on his liberty, in the form of detention, or whether the man should be released while the investigation continues.
