A man has been taken to hospital by ambulance after he received an unknown, corrosive liquid thrown over him. This is said to have occurred on a bike path in Oskarshamn. The man managed to get to his residence where police and ambulance were sent. 

A shorter interrogation has been held with the man. 

No suspect exists in the case at present. 

An investigation into aggravated assault has been initiated.
