E4 Sävar, results after traffic control
Under the day, the police have carried out six speed and rest stop checks and four flying inspections of vehicles on the stretch.
At the control point, which is located just north of Sävar, there are digital traffic signs that show the current speed. In normal cases, it is a stretch where 110 km/h is the highest permitted speed. When the police are conducting traffic controls, the speed may be temporarily reduced, for example to 80 and 40 km/h, to avoid dangerous situations for those working on the road. Today, two drivers have been fined and had their driver's licenses taken away after driving 73 and 98 km/h on the stretch when 40 km/h was temporarily the highest permitted speed.
A reminder to all road users is to be observant of the digital signs and follow the instructions.
