Police regional command center has handled around 30 cases related to Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Man arrested after report of assault
Shortly after 22:00, police were alerted to an incident that occurred in a residence in Strängnäs municipality. At the address, a man allegedly struck a woman he has some kind of relationship with. Police arrive at the scene and meet the woman who is supposed to have been affected. She is not reported to have suffered any serious physical injuries. Soon, contact is also made with and control is exercised over the man who is supposed to have been in the residence. The man, who is in his 40s, is arrested on suspicion of assault. He was later detained by the prosecutor for the crime.

Police have, in addition, carried out various routine checks on their own initiative or after reports from the public.
