Youths are reported to have been observed on the roof of a parking garage in the area. According to reports, they are said to have thrown stones at drivers who were visiting the hospital for various reasons.

Patrols have been on the scene and identified a child. The custodians have been contacted and the inappropriateness of behaving in this manner has also been pointed out.

There are currently no reports of whether drivers have been hit – but if damage is found to your vehicle in connection with a visit to the hospital, you are encouraged to make a report via 114 14.

The police are also urging custodians to talk to children and young people about this type of problem and the consequences it can lead to by throwing stones at drivers.
