Between 16.00 and 20.00, the police in Uppsala county have been alerted to a number of wildlife accidents. In total, 15 calls about wildlife accidents have been received during the four hours.

There are no reports of anyone needing hospital care after any of the accidents.
The police would like to remind drivers to drive carefully and keep an eye out on the roads. Wildlife accidents often occur at dawn and dusk. If you are involved in an accident, you should immediately call 112 and mark the accident location. The police will then send out search parties to the location. Failure to report a wildlife accident involving animals such as bear, wolf, lynx, wolverine, elk, deer, wild boar, mouflon or eagle to the police is punishable by fine, and can result in a fine.
