The police are on the scene at a traffic accident outside Säter.
There have been two traffic accidents that have occurred right next to each other on Highway 70 in Uggelbo. One accident involves a car that collided with an elk traveling in a northerly direction.
In connection with this, an accident has occurred in the opposite direction with two cars, where one car was rear-ended after having to stop for the elk.
Update 07:38: All persons have been checked by ambulance and no one is believed to have needed to be taken to the hospital. One of the cars is expected to be able to leave the scene, while the other two need to be towed. There are long queues in both directions, but traffic is moving slowly.
In connection with the towing, the road will need to be closed. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area to prevent any subsequent accidents.
Update 07:55: The tow truck is on site, which will result in a shorter traffic disruption, but thereafter traffic should be able to resume as normal again.
