Police receive information from a caller who encountered a man in the water in the Idenor district just south of Hudiksvall. Rescue services, ambulance, and police are alerted to the address.

When the patrol arrives at the scene, they can determine that it is a man in his 80s and that he has for unclear reasons ended up in the water. Doctors arrive and can determine that the man is deceased.

Next of kin are informed. The police suspect no crime in connection with the event. A report of death without suspicion of a crime is written.
